Mary Shaw
September 15, 1939 - January 9, 2022

Mary Shaw, 82 of Brookland, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on January 9, 2022. She was born on September 15, 1939 in Keenes, Illinois to Johnson and Naomi Wilton Gammon. Mary was a member of the First Assembly of God in Brookland for many years. She enjoyed knitting, taking care of her flowers, watching and feeding the birds, reading, doing puzzles, and going out to eat with her family. Survivors include; three children: Shelia Ludwig of Brookland, Arkansas, Donna Gomez (Gary) of Brookland, Arkansas, David Shaw (Joy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters: Imogene Galbraith, Elsie Ray, Lena Shaw; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; mother: Naomi Gammon; father: Johnson Gammon; husband: Howard Shaw; one son: Eldon Shaw; and five brothers: Earl Gammon, Carl Gammon, Paul Gammon, Junior Gammon, Leroy Gammon; and two grandsons: Josh Buchanan and Gary Gomez, III. Pallbearers: T.J. Buchanan, Gary Gomez, Wayne McGill, Larry Fisher, Nolan McDougle, and Tommy Newman. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Brookland, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Newman officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas.
