John (Frank) Franklin Lyles

John (Frank) Franklin Lyles, 49 of Lake City, Arkansas passed away on October 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1972 in Rockford, Illinois to Roy Gene Lyles, Sr. and Joann Jarrett Lyles. He was a graduate of the Law Enforcement Academy and served as a policeman in Lake City, Arkansas, a deputy with Craighead County Sheriff's Department, and with Federal Securities. His greatest love was for his daughters and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gunsmithing. Survivors include; his wife: Sherrie Jackson Lyles of the home; three daughters: Leslie Lyles of Lake City, Arkansas, MaKayla O’Guinn (Cody) of Des Moines, Iowa, and Samantha LeighAnn Lyles (Scott Johnson Jr.) of Lake City, Arkansas; his parents: Roy and Joann Lyles of Bay, Arkansas; one brother: Roy Gene Lyles, Jr. (Rhonda) of Hardy, Arkansas; two sisters: Lora Nix of Bay, Arkansas and Jennifer Jarrett (Chad) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren: John Roy Lyles and Elleanora Belle O’Guinn; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded by; grandparents: John H. Jarrett, Alene Jarrett, Louise Cook, and Frank Lyles. Pallbearers: Daniel Nix, Josh Nix, Tim Nix, Mark Hogan, Tim Hogan, Timmy Hogan, Jon Milligan, Donnie Rodgers, and Paul Horner. Honorary Pallbearers: Corbin Jarrett and Mikey Wright. Services will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Church of Christ with Bill Willard officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon until service time.
