Judy Reed

Judy JoAnn Reed (Jones), 81, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1939, in Judsonia, Arkansas, to Samuel Robert and Ruie Isabell Jones (Swindle). She was the youngest of 7 children. Judy loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. She was a skilled pool player and had an endless supply of abstract knowledge. She enjoyed watching the game show, ‘Jeopardy,’ and she was an amazing ‘Trivial Pursuit’ player. She loved playing cards and games with her loved ones. She was also very outspoken and never refrained from sharing her thoughts. Judy was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She was also loved dearly by her many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruie; her five sisters: Hazel Wilcockson, Jewell Burk, Mary Gay, Ruby Johnson, and Sammie Sharp; one brother: Huey Dale (Buck) Jones; and one grandson: Daniel Luke Partow. She is survived by three sons; Michael (John) Partlow of Olympia, Washington, Dany (Donna) Partlow of Cherokee Village, Chuck (Christi) Partlow of Paragould: one granddaughter; Lindsey (Anthony) Smith of Paragould: one grandson; Jacob (Kristan) Partlow of Jonesboro: great-grandchildren; Jeffery, Lillian, Sagan, and Lincoln: many nieces, nephews, and extended family: and her friends and neighbors at Aspen Gardens. A special “Thank You” to Total Life Healthcare and the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House of Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in her memory. Arrangements have not been set at this time.
