Doris Elaine Johann 72, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away peacefully at NEA Hospital on August 27, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1948 in Denmark, Arkansas to Dewey and Opal Arnold Sample. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing card games and bingo, and putting puzzles together. Survivors include: one daughter: Dana Stanfel of Lake City, Arkansas; one son: David A Johann JR of Arkansas; three brothers: Noah Lester Sample of Rockford, Illinois, J.D Sample of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, and Paul Sample of Arkansas; three sisters: Theresa Molatt of Bradford, Arkansas, June Waire of Pangburn, Arkansas, and Leah Jaco of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; five grandchildren: three great grandchildren: one great great grandchild; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her husband: David A Johann Sr; her parents: Dewey and Opal Arnold Sample; one sister: Lois Burpo; one brother: Leonard Sample. The family has requested private services.
