Alfred Camp, 74 passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Place, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born September 23, 1946 in Flat Rock, Alabama to Charles and Sally Francis Akin Camp. He was of the Christian faith, and a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel Church. His favorite pastime was fishing. Survivors include his children: Joe Camp of Denison, Texas and Sonia Camp of San Dimas, Texas, Dewayne Camp of Amarillo, Texas, Kim Camp of Texas, Laurie Camp of Texas, Terresa Curtis of California, and Melanie; two brothers: Robert Shinault (Helen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and David Shinault of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters: Evie Bearden (David) of Lake City, Arkansas and Betty Casteneda of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Betty Camp; one brother: Thurman Shinault; and one sister: Linda Walker. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Bible Holiness Church, Rogers Chapel Road, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Pastor Mike Chaney officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Burial will be in Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church 10:00 a.m. until service time.
