James W. Metz

James W. Metz, 72 of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on March 18, 2021 at the Rector Nursing Home. He was born on March 14, 1949 in Doniphan, Missouri to John and Nora England Metz. He was retired from John Deere, a good Christian man and would do anything for anyone. He loved life and lived it to his fullest and loved his family and was always there for them. He will be missed by many. Survivors include; three brothers: Donald Metz of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Edgar Metz of Paragould, Arkansas and Robert Metz (Brenda) of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Ada Wycoff of Paragould, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his wife: Anna Metz; his parents: John and Nora England Metz; three brothers: Herbert Miller, David Vaughn, and Johnny Vaughn; one sister: Betty Holmes; and one brother-in-law: Bud Holmes. Memorial services will be held on April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Seed of Faith Church, 418 E. Vine, Paragould, Arkansas with Rev. Marlin Ray officiating. Due to Covid 19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid 19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed, and social distancing will be observed.
