James Larry Blankenship

James Larry Blankenship, 76 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on March 26, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1944 in Murray, Kentucky to James E. and Emily Blankenship. He was a fire fighter and enjoyed raising beagles and birddogs, loved animals in general but especially his cats Jack and Andy. Survivors include; three daughters: Emily Beth Blankenship of North Carolina, Amy Laura Blankenship of Memphis, Tennessee, and Stephanie Leigh Jones of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: James and Emily Blankenship; and two brothers: Donald Earl Blankenship and Gene Blankenship. The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
