Charles Raymond Dedman

Charles Raymond Dedman of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed from this world on December 20, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in Trumann, Arkansas on August 23, 1936, he lived in or around Bay for most of his life. A graduate of Bay High School in 1955, he lived in Chicago for many years before returning to Bay to build a home, raise a family, and start a business. He is survived by three children. Charles A. Dedman of Huntsville, Alabama, Christine A. Dedman of Grubbs, Arkansas, and Nikki L. Adams of Jonesboro, Arkansas, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. He is also survived by five siblings, Jim Dedman of Bay, Connie Judd of Bay, Rudy (Dale) Dedman of Mountain Home, Donna Lane of Illinois and Charlene Smith of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy as well as four siblings, Billy Dedman, Velta Wax, Alpha Gann, and Frances Throgmorton Haire. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice Home located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
