Glenvell Fletcher
September 14, 1930 - December 10, 2020

Mr. Glenvell D. Fletcher, 90 of Lake City, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his home. He was born September 14, 1930 in Craighead County, Arkansas to Delmer and Alice Pankey Fletcher. Survivors include; his wife: Shirley Fletcher of Lake City, Arkansas, one son: Nick Fletcher (Vicki) of Lake City, one granddaughter: Nicole Fletcher Lewis (John) of Cabot, Arkansas; one grandson: Brock Fletcher (Danielle) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren: Luke Lewis, Jackson Fletcher, Emilia Fletcher, Andrew Lewis, Wyatt Fletcher, Sophia Lewis, MaryElla Lewis; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Fletcher, a Navy veteran, retired from the Finance Office of Arkansas State University. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Lake City and served as usher. A private graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas. There will be no visitation.

    Glen was a very kind and humorous person to me. He was always so helpful with faithful advice and friendship. First time I met him he told me we were distantly related thru Uncle Pete and Aunt Lola Fletcher. Making a connection to a scared freshman that had never been away from home. A special person and he will be missed. My prayers are with you during this time of loss.
