Reuben Fryer Griggs
March 3, 1978 - November 19, 2020

Reuben Fryer, 42 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on November 19, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 3, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois to Verdell Fryer (who preceded him in death) and Edward Johnson. At an early age he was placed in the ever-loving care of his great aunt Pearl Griggs in Forrest City, Arkansas. He attended Rising Sun Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He attended Forrest City High School where he met lifelong friends. Later he relocated to Jonesboro, Arkansas where he worked at Lowe’s and Walmart. Reuben is gone, but he will never be forgotten. To cherish his memory survivors include; his father: Edward Johnson; one sister: Edna Fryer; two brothers Courtney and Christopher; a host of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; and a host of other family and friends. The family request private services.
