Billy W. Pendergrass

Mr. Bill W. Pendergrass, 79, of Rivervale, gained his heavenly wings on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Pendergrass was born on November 21, 1940 to the late James (Buddy) and Robbie (Alline) Pendergrass. He was a member of the Lepanto First Assembly of God Church. Bill was a Christian who loved the Lord, His Savior. He also adored his family and loved spending all his time with them. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting and working outside in his shop. In 1999, he retired after 28 years of service from Hytrol Conveyor Company of Jonesboro. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sue (Holliman) Pendergrass of the home; one son, Billy Pendergrass of Caraway; two daughters, Wanda (Mark) Shasteen of Caraway and Terry (Brian) Jones of Osceola; three brothers, James (Linda) Pendergrass and Donnie (Laverne) Pendergrass of Monette, Horace (Barbara) Pendergrass of Rivervale; four sisters, Joyce Holt of Caraway, Linda Brewer of Black Oak, Connie Brack of Trumann and Bonnie (Tim) of Otwell; four grandchildren, Heather (Dewayne) Blocker of Leachville, Whitney (Kyle) Vassar of Paragould, Allyson Pendergrass and Jackson Pendergrass of Caraway; four great-grandchildren, Kalli Blocker and Kennedy Blocker of Leachville, and Allie and Bradyn Blocker of Jonesboro, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Madgie Inez Terry; brother-in-laws, Bill Brack, Cecil Terry, Roy Brewer, and Bob Holt; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Lepanto First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Gary Finley officiating. Interment will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Services of Manila. The family will receive visitors from 11:30 AM until service time Wednesday at the church. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Stephen Pendergrass, John Michael Pendergrass, Shannon Brack, Bobby Baney, Jason Sitz, and Dilynn Strickland. Honorary pallbearers are his friends; Danny, Glenn, and Tim Austin, Henry Dean and Jeff Finch, Buck and R.V. Huskey, Heath Hawkins, Wayne and Jackie Fires, Jimmy Rogers, the members of Lepanto First Assembly of God Church and his Hytrol Family.
