Helen Louise Powell, 84 passed away Sunday, November, 8, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born June 20, 1936 in Black Oak , Arkansas to Edgar and Emma Anderson Stevens. She was a member of the Black Oak Assembly of God Church, was very active in the church, the Boys Home, and the Food Bank. Survivors include; one brother: James “Bud” Stevens of Black Oak, Arkansas and one sister: Peggy Fletcher of Greer’s Ferry, Arkansas; four nieces: Alice Stevens Lain, Bethany Reams Stayton, Lori Reams Faulkner, and Jamey Stevens Bond; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband: Lendon Powell. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Caraway Cemetery with Bro. Steven Sanders officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, a mask or other facial coverings are required along with social distancing, and a Covid 19 acknowledgement form will be required to be signed.
