Wayne Davenport
August 11, 1939 - October 1, 2020

Wayne Davenport, 81 of Brookland, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born to the late Curt and Lois Davenport. Wayne retired from General Electric after thirty-five years and went on to raise cattle on his farm at Goobertown, Arkansas for another fifteen years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother: Jay Davenport; and one sister: Louise Williams. Wayne is survived by; his wife, of almost sixty years: Linda Davenport; one son: Ken Davenport (Tammy); one daughter: Carol Rupard (Randy); five grandchildren: Hannah, Kendall and Kaitlyn Davenport, and Josh and Chelsea Rupard; one great granddaughter: Reece Wilkes Rupard; one brother: Roy Davenport; two sisters: Jane Guest and Glenda Copeland; and a host of other family and friends.
