Leroy Donald Henninger, 89, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away on September 12, 2020 at Regional One, Memphis, Tennessee. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 29, 1931 to Art and Madge Hoyt Henninger. He loved cooking especially barbecuing, he was a “pit master” before it was popular. Survivors include; one daughter: Sharon Henninger of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Taylor Henninger (Kaylee) of Bono, Arkansas and Tanner Henninger (Whitney) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister: Marilyn Ostendorf of Central City, Nebraska; one brother: Bob Henninger (Lois) of Mesa, Arizona; three great-grandchildren: Hunter, Reece, and Casen Henninger; two nephews: Kevin Ostendorf of McCook, Nebraska and Brent Henninger of Colorado; one niece: Brenda Griner of Arizona; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Art and Madge Henninger. The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
