Roland (Gopher) Lancaster
July 28, 1939 - September 1, 2020

Roland (Gopher) Lancaster, 81 of Senath, Missouri passed away at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas Tuesday, September 1, 2020. He was a man who never met a stranger, loved his family and friends, and anyone who wanted to talk. He enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening, and taking care of his yard. The first of October he would start decorating his yard for Christmas with lights all over the yard. He loved dancing and bluegrass music. He is survived by; his wife: Marjorie; two sons: Steve Lancaster (Stacy) of Gosnell, Arkansas, Keith Lancaster (Angela) of Arbyrd, Missouri; two step sons: Donald Breeds (Marianne) and John Breeds (Tonya) of Paragould Arkansas; four grandsons: Joshua of Paragould, Arkansas, Tristen Breeds of Paragould, Arkansas, Skyler Lancaster of Senath, Missouri, Jessie (Harley) of Arbyrd, Missouri; two great grandchildren: Hazel and Greyson Lancaster of Arbyrd, Missouri one brother: Roy Lancaster of Arbyrd, Missouri, one sister: Margie Harden of Kennett, Missouri; many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; four brothers: Arthur, George, Porter and Bill Lancaster; two sisters: Ruby Lockard, Geraldine Hefflin. Roland will be laid to rest, Saturday, September 5, 2020, graveside service only, at Senath Cemetery, Senath, Missouri with Pastor Paul Baumann officiating under the direction of Faith funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and signing Covid 19 acknowledgement form will be required.
