Jo Etta Strickland, 85 of Lake City, Arkansas passed away August 28, 2020 in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born July 18, 1935 in Lake City, Arkansas to James Ed and Robbie Reed Mann. She was a member of the Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church, loved to go to church, cook, and take care of her dog, Dot. Survivors include; her husband: Billy Strickland of the home; one son: Jimmy Strickland (Betty) of Lake City, Arkansas; two daughters: Cassie Goad (Gary) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Sandra Harmon of Paragould, Arkansas; One Brother: Bud Mann (Annette) of Lake City, Arkansas; two sisters: Judy Mann of Lake City, Effie Nichols (Charles) of Lake City, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Chris Farmer (Nicole), Angela Stidham (Daniel), Lynn Doty, Amy Davis (Darin), Michelle Strickland (Phillip), Daniel Strickland (Amber); fourteen great grandchildren: Caleb Farmer (Hannah), Harper Jernigan, Maggie Farmer, Paisley Farmer, Olivea Jett (Marissa), Kailey Jett, Miles Young, Ava Stidham, Gracie Doty, Matthew Fraser (Allie),Shelby Goad Hoke, Elizabeth Strickland, Avery Strickland, Hayden Strickland; one great great grandchild: Adalyn Oden; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; three brothers: Gene, Donnie, and Bobby Mann. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Cemetery in Lunsford, Arkansas with Pastor Dal Hogan and George Harvey officiating with under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, Manila, Arkansas. Due to Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and the signing of a Covid 19 acknowledgement form will be required.
