Brenda Joyce Crowson, 73 of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on August 12, 2020 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1947 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to William Robert and Lavenia Blanch Easley Woodrum. She was a member of the New Antioch Baptist Church in Brookland, Arkansas. She enjoyed shopping, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends. She taught thirty-one years for the Harrisburg Central and Trumann School District. Survivors include; one daughter: Christy-Leigh Douglas (Neil) of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Ricky Woodrum (Carolyn) of Trumann, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Jackson and Walker Douglas of Paragould, Arkansas; one niece: Amy Jo Treadaway of Trumann, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents: William Robert and Lavenia Blanch Woodrum; and one brother: Bobby Woodrum. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Antioch Baptist Church, Brookland, Arkansas with Pastor Elmer Ash and Nolan Glover officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will be in Willis Cemetery, Harrisburg, Arkansas. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, face masks are required, social distancing will be observed, and the signing of a Covid information form will be required. Faith Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
