Shann McElroy, 53 of Monette, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at his home. He was born In Paragould, Arkansas July 12, 1967 to Donald Lee McElroy and Mary Kathryn Fortson McElroy Yates. He was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church, enjoyed camping at his favorite place on the river in Hardy, Arkansas, enjoyed trail riding and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include, his wife: Cathy Renea McElroy of the home; one brother: Ronnie McElroy (Missy) of Knoxville, Tennessee; two nieces: Melissa Pendergrass (Stephen) of Monette Arkansas, and Heather Duncan (Stephen) of Knoxville, Tennessee; two nephews: Brandon Price (Brittany) of Brookland, Arkansas, and Chris McElroy (Cathryn) of Irving, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; grandparents: Earl and Lucille McElroy, Ray Fortson, and Lilly Murphy Fortson; one brother: Rickey Lee McElroy. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, Manila, Arkansas. In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and a signing of a Covid 19 acknowledgement form will be required.
