Reba Jean Wren Blankenship
September 23, 1944 - July 19, 2020

Reba Jean Wren Pepper Blankenship ("Jeanie" to family and friends) of Paragould, AR, fell asleep in death Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Green Acres Nursing Home, at age 75. She was born September 23, 1944 to Melvin Morgan and Rilla (Wilson) Wren in Saint Louis, MO. Jeanie was a generous person and a mother to all. She could make a person laugh--or cry--with a single look. She cared deeply, loved fiercely, and made sure everyone she met felt like family. As a single mother, she raised 5 children with a good work ethic and strong family values. To all that, she was also a spiritual woman. She dedicated her life to our heavenly Father in 1974 and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on December 8th of that year. Jeanie read her Bible every day before memory loss took over and spoke about God to all that would listen. Through this, she found hope in God's promises of resurrection (Acts 24:15) and doing away with death forever (Revelation 21:4). Her close family and many friends rejoice in that hope as well, and look forward to welcoming Jeanie back when she is told to "wake up"! Jeanie is preceded in death by both parents; brothers Harold and Donald Wren; sister Zelee Repple; daughter Kimberly Jean Pepper Hill; grandson, Anthony Nicholas Pepper, as well as other extended family members. Jeanie is succeeded by sons Robert Franklin Pepper (Deanna) of Paragould, AR; Michael Charles Pepper of Saint Louis, MO, Mark Alan Pepper (Cade) of Hecker, IL and David Daniel Pepper (Sonja) of Columbia, IL, as well as grandchildren Andrew Pepper and Alex Pepper of Saint Louis, MO; Morgan Pepper and Victoria Pepper of Hecker, IL; Miranda Pepper Duke (Cody) of Saint Charles, MO and Phoebe Pepper of Columbia, IL. Due to current pandemic restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A memorial service will be held for Jeanie at a later date via Zoom. Family and friends will be notified by way of text or email once the date is determined. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas in charge of arrangements.

Loved Jennie so much. She had hugs and cards for everyone. We use to joke with each other because she was 2 days older than I was. She will be welcomed back with loving arms from all who knew her and all who will know her sweet personality and smile. Last time I saw her, she had one tear in her eye and I can't help but think one instant she might have known I was from the Kingdom Hall. Until we see you again. Love and prayers to the family, friends, and all who loved her.
