Stephanie G. Houston
January 29, 1973 - July 15, 2020

Stephanie Gwynn Houston, 47 of Walnut Ridge, passed into eternal glory on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at her home. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Sean Houston of Walnut Ridge, her children Lucas Serratto and Garrett Houston of Walnut Ridge, a bonus-daughter Daryan Watts, one grandchild Jasper Dane Simmons of Brookland, four brothers George Thomas Mann of Jonesboro, Kevin Mann of Pocahontas, and William “Billy” Mann (Nicole) of Yellville, and Dwayne Mann of Paragould. Her Aunt, Ruth Tarpley (William) of Jonesboro, cousin Angie (Bobby) Couch of Jonesboro. Her uncle Boyce Hart (Jane) of Kentucky. As well as several nieces, one nephew, and a host of other family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Dewey Mann and Virginia Miller, her grandparents Dewey and Ruth Mann, and one cousin Jeffrey Tarpley. Stephanie was born January 29, 1973 to Dewey Mann and Virginia Miller. She lived in Jonesboro, Arkansas most of her life and graduated from Nettleton High school in 1991. She was extremely intelligent and graduated a year earlier than her peers with a 4.0 grade average. As years went by, she eventually moved to Hawaii and gained a new love for scuba diving before returning to Arkansas. She became an avid diver and loved to tell stories of all the things she had witnessed during her dives. In her professional life, she earned a certification as a paralegal, and also managed several Jackson Hewitt locations all over Arkansas. Stephanie married the love of her life, Sean, on May 5, 2012. Together they raised two boys, Lucas and Garrett, who were the light of Stephanie’s life. Stephanie was a light to all that encountered her. She never met a stranger and treated everyone she encountered as if she’d known them her entire life. She was kind, generous, honest, and was never more than just a phone call away. Stephanie’s friends were more than her friends to her, they were her family. To her husband, she was more of a wife than any man could ever ask for, and the most outstanding mother to ever walk this earth. She spent her time homeschooling her boys and dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She was compassionate and honest and had a heart that showed nothing but love and integrity. The world may be a little darker today, but Heaven is a whole lot brighter. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 5pm-7pm at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, 2658 Hwy 18 W. Manila, Arkansas. A memorial service officiated by Donnie Churchwell will be announced at a later date.
