William E. Osburn
November 3, 1947 - July 14, 2020

William E. Osburn, 72 of West Ridge, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas November 3, 1947 to George W. and Lorene Cook Osburn. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, he enjoyed building things, and visiting with his circle of friends. Survivors include; his wife: Hazel Marie Osburn, of the home; two sons: Doug Mooneyham (Becky), and Michael McCorkle (Amy) all of Wynne, Arkansas; two daughters: Donna Ramsey (Jack) of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Loretta Colett of Bay Arkansas; one brother: Junior Osburn of Paragould, Arkansas; many grand children and great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers: Bobby and Delbert Osburn; and three sisters: Francis Elrod, Patsy Hollings, and Jean Osburn. Funeral service will be Monday, July 20, 2020 12:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of God, Etowah, Arkansas with Rev. Freddy Adams officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Visitation will be at the church 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Birdeye State Veterans Cemetery, Cherry Valley, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Dennis Garner, Trae Garner, Earnest Griggs, Ricky Griggs, Chris Ferrell, Jack Ramsey. Honorary Pallbearers: Roger Ferrell, Robert Matlock, Jeff Garner, Darrell Turner, Butch Dover, Wayne, Dover, Jerry Dover. In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and the signing of a Covid Acknowledgement form will be required.
