Floyd H. Weems

Floyd H. Weems, Jr. 80, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born July 3, 1940 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Floyd H. and Lou Donal Matthews Weems. He was of the Baptist faith, and attended First Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas, proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1959 – 1961, a member of the Shriners for thirty plus years, an expert machinist, he enjoyed fishing and bowling, for which he won many trophies. Survivors include; one son: Resource Officer for Bay School; Eddie Patrick Weems of Trumann, Arkansas; one daughter: Ladonna Lee Weems- Blair of Russellville, Arkansas; grandchildren: Kristen, Dale, Latisha and Hannah; great grandchildren: Keegan and Adeline; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his grandparents. Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander, Arkansas. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, 2658 Highway 18 W. Manila, Arkansas. In compliance to Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and the signing of a Covid 19 Acknowledgement form will be required.
