Wayne Wheeley (Calvin Elvis Presley Wayne), 61, of Jonesboro passed from this life peacefully at home on Sunday, May 10, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born on November 15, 1957 in Jonesboro and was the 9th child born to his late parents, Earl L. and Virginia C. (Johnson) Wheeley. Wayne was a member of Bay First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, Gerald and Kenneth Wheeley; sister, Wanda Wheeley; stepdaughter, Melody Clem; stepson, Jay Clem. He is survived by his loving wife, Lottie Wheeley; sisters, Helen Oden, Barbara (Richard) Hager, Marie (Larrie) Woodard; his brother, Eddie Dean (Mable) Wheeley; sisters-in-law, Corene and Kay; brother-in-law, Raymond White and numerous nieces and nephews; stepson, Jody Clem A memorial will be held at a later date, and his ashes along with Wanda’s will be taken to their favorite fishing hole.
