Donald "Catfish" Hood
August 21, 1949 - April 14, 2020

Donald “Catfish” Hood, 70, passed away at his home in Lake City, Arkansas, April 14, 2020. He was born August 21, 1949 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late James and Gladys Berg Hood. Donald was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed duck hunting and fishing, spending time with family, especially his great grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and was known as the town comedian. Survivors include; one daughter: Donasue Rose, of the home; one brother: Terry Hood of Lake City, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Kaitin Lindley of Lepanto, Arkansas; and two great grandchildren: Keen Asher and Harper Kate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Susan Hood; three brothers: Randy, Gerald, and Tommy Hood; and one sister: Elizabeth Ann. Out of an abundance of caution for others and in compliance with current health safety guidelines, the family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
