Larry Don George, 52, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on January 11, 2020 at St. Bernard’s Hospital. He was born on October 17, 1967 in Newport, Arkansas to L.D. and Lola Hartsell George. He was of the Baptist Faith, a master framer, and enjoyed race car driving, the many friendships he made thru NA, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include; seven children: Kristyn Rutter of Paragould, Arkansas, Ashley Miller of Paragould, Arkansas, Chassity Hooten of Paragould, Arkansas, Levi Watkins of Paragould, Lola George of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Audrey Rainwater of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Austin George of Pocahontas, Arkansas; three brothers: Terry George of Newport, Arkansas, Ernie Welch of Batesville, Arkansas, and Bobby Welch of Rose Bud, Arkansas; two sisters: Jamie Dobbs and Rhonda Mann of Newport, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father: L. D. George; his mother: Lola Morgan; one sister: Tanya George; two brothers: Roger George and Ricky Welch; one grandson: Price Nelson. Graveside services will be held on January 18, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery in Tuckerman, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church, 5407 Stadium, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
