Arvel Glen Pratt

Arvel Glen Pratt, 88, of Rector, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 24, 1930 in Happy Corner, Leachville, Arkansas to William Walker and Katie Bell Shatley Pratt. He was a member of the Church of Christ, 5th and Pine, Rector, Arkansas. He worked for many farmers in the area and for a while worked at Blades Manufacturing in the tool crib. He enjoyed playing the mandolin and guitar, fishing, and working on lawn mowers, tillers, and chainsaws. Survivors include; his wife of twenty-four years: Euva Nell Pratt of the home; two daughters: Mary Williams (Eddie) of Rector, Arkansas and Faye Coleman (Eugene) of Piggott, Arkansas; one brother: Glen Pratt (Lisa) of Rector; four grandchildren: Angela Williams, Jason Williams, Jeremy Dooley, and Dustin Coleman; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his wife of forty-six years: Lula (Turner) Pratt; his parents: William and Katie Pratt; two brothers: Tom Pratt and Willie Pratt; and two sisters: Ollie Edgin and Eula Bell Reynolds. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church, Rector, Arkansas.
