Steven Alex McQuay, 56 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019. He was born to James McQuay and Daphyne Parson on June 18, 1963 in Jonesboro. He was raised Baptist and he had a love for life that was evident to anyone that knew him. Steven also had a passion and love for fishing. He was preceded in death by his father James McQuay, brother James David McQuay and grandson Braxin Lane McQuay. Steven is survived by his loving mother Daphyne Parson of Jonesboro, his sons Kevin Alex McQuay of Jonesboro, Nicholis Golden of Trumann and daughter Sabrina McQuay of Southside, special daughters Dianna Sairls of Brookland, Savannah Golden of Trumann, grandchildren Gage and Noah Golden of Trumann, Jonah Gill and Hayven Brooks of Southside, brothers Max Parson (Carolyn) of Jonesboro, Michael McQuay (Cindy) of Jonesboro, sisters Penny Kirksey (Randy) of Jonesboro, Paula Kirksey (BJ Schlueter) of Ward and numerous loved ones from family to friends. A private memorial celebration of Steven’s life will be held by invitation only on Sunday, October 6, 2019 with Jennifer Tarwater officiating. We are extending gratitude and very special thank you to everyone that has contributed to his memorial celebration and to Faith Funeral Service.

I feel like I've been left all alone now. You have passed, one is in jail, and the other one I've divorced I love u and miss u like the world. May u rest in peace
