Mattie Jane Spence

Mattie Jane Spence, 91, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on September 8, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee to William Archie and Lula Thelma Minyard Watts. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include; two daughters: Donna Eversole (Holly Cramer) of Denver, Colorado and Kathy Huddleston (Jim) of Elkins, Arkansas; one sister: Claudia Pustka of Brigham City, Utah; five grandchildren: Tommy Beaman, Susan Beaman, April Eversole, James Wilkey, and Michael Carson; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friendsl She was preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: Joe Spence; one son: David Eversole; four brothers: Bill, Pete, James, and George Watts; and one granddaughter: Sandra Beaman. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 3930 Aggie Road, Jonesboro with Pastor Brandon Wright officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
