Elsie E. Brannon, 67, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born December 4, 1951 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Carl David and Ruth Caroline Lucas Ewart. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas, enjoyed painting, loved animals, she fed all the stray cats in her neighborhood, avid Star Wars fan and loved Nascar, which she never missed watching a race. Survivors include, her husband: George Brannon; one daughter: Amanda Koster and husband Garry of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three stepsons: Christopher R. Brannon of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Timothy Brannon of West Helena, Arkansas, and Terry Brannon of Stuttgart, Arkansas; one brother: Steve Ewart and wife Becky of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Kyle Koster of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Mikah Brannon of Barton, Arkansas, and Shelbie Brannon of Barton, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas with Cory McDaniel officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
