A.C. Bishop Sparks, Sr., 71, of Monette, Arkansas passed away on June 3, 2019 at Monette Manor. He was born on March 5, 1948 in Bargetown, Arkansas to A. C. and Lethia Ridings Sparks. He was a member of the Dyess Assembly of God, enjoyed fishing, rabbit hunting, trading cars, and going to church. Survivors include; his wife: Mae Ellen Sparks of Dyess, Arkansas two sons: Bishop Sparks, Jr. (Sherry) of Monette, Arkansas and Chris Sparks (Tasha) of Carrolls Corner, Arkansas; two daughters: Crystal Ainsworth (Jason) of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Ashley Sparks of Dyess, Arkansas; three brothers: Harold Sparks (Ruby) of Dyess, Arkansas, Jack Sparks (Sharon) of Keiser, Arkansas and Lee Sparks (Janie) of Keiser, Arkansas; three sisters: Judy Martin (Randy) of Keiser, Arkansas, Betty Streeter (Gerald) of Bassett, Arkansas and Liz Wilburn of Keiser, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren: Caroline Reilly, Alex Hatcher, Krystal Cohn, Jacob Sparks, Taylor Sparks, Brittany Sparks, Christian Sparks, Remington Sparks, Hannah Ainsworth, Emily Ainsworth, Jason Ainsworth, Bradley Ainsworth, and Makenna Ainsworth; seven great-grandchildren: Beau Reilly, Braylee Gosa, Thomas Elks, Abigail Elks, Mathue Elks, Laynie Ainsworth, and Libby Ainsworth; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: A. C. and Lethia Sparks; his wife: Carolyn Irene Blagg; one brother: Hubert Sparks; four sisters Mable South, Nita, Bertha Newman, and Virginia Davenport. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service with Bro. Edward Don Barber and Bro. James England officiating. Burial will follow at Louise Chapel Cemetery, Joiner, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Jacob Sparks, Brett Bennett, Brice Bennett, Jason Ainsworth, Shannon Baugus, and Thomas Sparks, Jr. Honorary pallbearers: Gerald Streeter, Randy Martin, Thomas Sparks, Sr., Jack Sparks, and Lee Sparks.
