Randolph Christopher Begley
November 7, 1951 - May 22, 2019

Randolph Christopher Begley, 67, of Hardy, Arkansas passed away on May 22, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on November 7, 1951 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Claborn and Guynell Oakley Begley. He retired from General Motors after 30 years. Randy was the kind of person who always put family first. His door was always open and a cold Bud Light in the fridge. He was about making memories with family and friends. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, playing pool, and in his day he loved to play softball. Randy worked hard his whole life and retired after thirty years as an assembly line worker at General Motors in Flint Michigan. He then lived his dream, moving to the foothills of Arkansas. He lived in the country where the deer came to him and the hummingbirds drank from his hand. Randy loved his home and took great pride in his lawn, spending hours mowing, weeding, and moving rocks. He loved to set on his back porch, cold Bud Light in hand, and watch his grandchildren run, play, and swim in his pool. He would watch for his deer to walk up in his back yard or for family and friends to drive up his long driveway. He spent his life helping those in need and working hard. His hobbies included supporting our President and defaming the injustices in this world. Those who knew him well would know his parting words would be: “I love you”, “Alright Then” and “Go Trump!”. Survivors include; two daughters: Jamie Farner (Max) of Davison, Michigan and Reesa Looney of Cadillac, Michigan; two brothers: Robin Begley (Kay) of Fostoria, Michigan and Ronald Begley of Applegate, Michigan; five sisters: Brenda Walters, Annette Hutchins, Darline Begley Wilson, Tammy Begley, and Teresa Begley all of Trumann, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Jacob Farner, Zachary “Z-Hulk” Farner, Arieonna Looney, Grayce Looney, Damien Mose, Olivia McIllwain, and Trey Henry; one brother-in-law: Emmet Gruno: and special friend M. Judy Elrod...among many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father: Claborn Begley; his mother: Guynell Cromwell; grandparents; Samuel and Susan Begley, Raymond Oakley, and Irene Lesley; two brothers: Randall “Lee” Begley and Donald “Don” Begley; one sister Julie Begley Gruno; and a host of other family and friends.
