James Ranso Ergle Jr.

James Ranso Ergle, Jr., 75, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on May 19, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1944 in Jefferson County, Alabama to James and Carlee Hood Ergle. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookland, Arkansas, a graduate of Cash High School in 1962, and a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed life, and loved his dog Oakey. Survivors include; two daughters: Deanna and Jeanette of Illinois; one sister: Joyce Mills of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Tex Lee Ergle of Jasper, Alabama and Gary Ergle of Pekin, Illinois; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: James and Carlee Ergle; one brother: Jimmy Ergle; and one sister: Rose Weaver. The family wants to give a special thanks to his care givers. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Don Seats officiating. Interment will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
