Derlene Blanchard, 69 of Trumann, Arkansas passed away April 19, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born May 24, 1948 in Trumann, Arkansas to Robert and Irene Franklin Salter. She was a Christian and her family was everything to her. Survivors include; one son: Shawn Blanchard (Tonya) of Trumann, Arkansas; two daughters: Tammy Allred of Trumann, Arkansas, Alanna Brown (Rick) of Harrison, Arkansas; one brother: Charles Hanna (Peggy) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister: Shirley Wilson of Harrisburg, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Heather Shrader (Brandon), Mallory Nixon (Xavier), Scott Hellums (Katie), Jay Allred (Taylor), Tyler Blanchard, Kyle Blanchard (Anna), Terran Blanchard, Sabra Hellums, Geneva Hellums, Darren Hellums (Lindsey); twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her father: Robert Salter; her mother: Irene Walker; one brother: Theodore Salter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas with Pastor Austin Missey officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Tyler Blanchard, Kyle Blanchard, Terran Blanchard, Jay Allred, Scott Hellums, Patrick Rice.
