Mary Betty Keele
December 29, 1930 - April 14, 2019

Mary Betty Keele, age 88, of Paragould AR, passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at her home in Jonesboro, Arkansas with family by her side. She was born December 29, 1930 in Gideon, Missouri to Johnathan and Liddia Ellen Smith Nunnery. Until recently, she was an active gardener and home maker. She loved flowers, bird watching, was an excellent cook, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was always the glue for her family. Granny (Betty), as she was most often called, was a very loving and caring one. Survivors include; one child: Tommy Keele of California; one sister: Pat Nunnery; one brother: James Buddy Nunnery of Rector Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Crystal Hammon of Paragould, Arkansas, Patricia Harpole of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Lisa Faught of Corona, California, Tommy Keele, Jr. of California, Candy Leishman of California, Sandy Keele of California, Mellissa Keele of California, and Billy Keele, Jr. of California; twenty-two great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life: Ulan Dugan Keele; her parents: John and Liddia Nunnery; two sisters: Jewel Dee Weaver and Hazel Marie Horn; two brothers: Dub Nunnery, and Frayo Nunnery; three children: Betty Avanell Jones, Carrol Black and Billy Keele and two grandchildren: Laura Jones and Donna Black. The family has requested a private service with Chaplain Albert Camp officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
