Jack Poyner

Mr. Jack Poyner, 72, of Bald Knob, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 after a battle with cancer. Mr. Poyner was born on December 8, 1939 in Farrenburg, Missouri to the late Willy Ensely and Cornelia Virginia Poyner. Mr. Poyner was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the Army. He was an avid outdoorsman and a mechanical genius. Survivors include; his wife: Kathyrn Poyner of Bald Knob, Arkansas; one son: Billy Poyner of Sikeston, Missouri; six daughters: Tami Overby of Sikeston, Missouri, Missy Abney of Sikeston, Missouri, Kelly Scott of Manila, Arkansas, Dawn Ward of Searcy, Arkansas, Mary Bonds of Conway, Arkansas and Trisha Castelli of North Little Rock, Arkansas; four sisters: Jane Ann Agan of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jean Follis of Texarkana, Texas, Sue Byrd of Saratoga, Arkansas and Jetta Merridith of Texarkana, Texas; one brother: Jim Poyner of Morgantown, West Virginia; fifteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Poyner was preceded in death by; his parents and two brothers: Bobby Curtis and June Arlen Poyner. The family request private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
