Billy G. Cremeens

Billy G. Cremeens, 88 of Jonesboro passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro Arkansas. He was born December 12, 1929 in Imboden, Arkansas to Arvil and Viola Blansett Cremeens. He served his country in the United States Army, member of Southwest Church of Christ, he was a retired high school teacher and bus driver, enjoyed going to music shows, loved the Eleven Point River at Dalton, Arkansas, and going places with Joan.Survivors include; his wife Joan; three sons: Guy Cremeens (Juanita) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Don Cremeens (Laura) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Gary Cremeens (Karen) of Paragould, Arkansas; three step sons: Gary Crocker (Karen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Terry Crocker (Jonie) of Memphis, Tennessee, Randy Crocker (Pam) of Beebe, Arkansas; two step daughters: Linda Baker (Terry) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sandra Ross (Ike) of Poteau, Oklahoma; one sister: Yvonne Galbraith (Harold) of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Steve Cremeens; two brothers: Carlton Lavelle Cremeens and Don Cremeens,and a wife: Hattie E. Cremeens.Funeral service will be Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bono Church of Christ with Gary Cremeens and Richard Akins officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Burial will be in Herman Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Guy Cremeens, Don Cremeens, Gary Cremeens, Keith Cremeens, Kevin Cremeens, Scott Cremeens. The family will receive visitors at the church Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Children’s Home of Paragould, Arkansas.Guest register: www.faithfuneralservice.net

    My condolences to the family of my cousin Bill. I did not get to know him until later in life, but thoroughly enjoyed my visits with him, his brother Carlton, and their father Advil. I was proud to be related to such a fine group of men.
