Mr. William Reed Meurer, Jr., 56, of Caraway, Arkansas passed from this life on March 28, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Meurer was born on December 3, 1957 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to William “Bud” and Margie Guthrie Meurer. Mr. Meurer was a siding applicator and contractor for years, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and will be missed by his many friends and family.

Mrs. Ruby Jewel Tosh Reagan, age 88 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Reagan was born February 10, 1926 in Kennett, Missouri, to the late Andrew and Elsie Harrison Tosh. Mrs. Reagan was a member of the Bethel Station Baptist Church, an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and loved all animals.
She is survived by one daughter: Madonna Reagan Thomas and husband Michael of Hewitt, Texas;
Mrs. Sharmaley Sue Scott Burdin, Age 43 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born October 12, 1970 in Rockford, Illinois, she was the daughter of Jackie and Brenda Coney Scott, Sr. She was a member of the Greater Vision Church in Paragould, loved NASCAR and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Brenda Kaye Keller, age 55 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Van Buren, Arkansas. Born July 15, 1958 in Osceola, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Walter and Wanda Camp Briley and had been a longtime area resident. Mrs. Keller was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, enjoyed watching television and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Mrs. Barbara Lynn Wilson Parker, age 60 formerly of Caraway, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Cave City, Arkansas. Born February 9, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Dalphadean Bateman Wilson. Mrs. Parker was a Christian person of faith who enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, fishing, animals and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Brenda Joan Lafferty, age 56 of Kennett, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 in Kennett. Mrs. Lafferty was born on August 10, 1957 to the late John and Zelma Trammell Peters and was a retired drug abuse counselor at Hayti. Mrs. Lafferty was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Kennett and enjoyed decorating, yard sales and collecting angels.

Mr. Mark Alexander Reid, age 60 of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Born August 8, 1953, he was the son of the late Leon Alexander and Delphia Asher Reid. Mr. Reid was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of the Marmaduke First Baptist Church. He was a long time truck driver and enjoyed watching t.v. and fishing.

Mr. James Wendell Hansen, 57, of Wynne, Arkansas died on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Mr. Hansen was born on March 6, 1957 in Modesto, California to the late Joseph Wendell and Joan Merrill Hansen. Mr. Hansen was of the Mormon faith, enjoyed barbecuing, playing golf and softball, and playing with his grandchildren.
