Mr. Dennis Allen Mathews, âPeteâ 62 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 26, 2017. He was born March 8, 1955 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Wallace and Georgia Woodruff Mathews. He served in the United States Army, the Vietnam war, and 101st Airborne para trooper. He was a great man who loved his children, grandchildren, riding his Harley and the outdoors.

Barbara Sue Betts, 71, of Vanndale, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Forrest City Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1945 in Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas to the late Lee and Inez Pegg. She was of the Baptist faith and worked at Addison Shoe Factory for seventeen years before owning Vanndale Food Center. She was a really hard worker, enjoyed mowing grass, taking care of rental properties, dancing, having fun, and spending time with family and friends.
Bill Kelley, 76, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on June 18, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on July 7, 1940 in Jonesboro, to the late Arvil and Lucille Kelley.
Survivors include; four sons: Burt, John, Roy, and Ira Kelley; three brothers: Arvil, Larry, and Oscar Kelley; four sisters: Joyce Kelley Presgrove, Joann Hickey, Cassandra Kelley Massey, and Freda Henson; and five grandchildren.

Josie L. Miller, 71, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed away on June 20, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1946 in Double Springs, Alabama to the late Jasper Wyatt and Lessie Edna Tidwell Parrish. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, sewing, reading, loved meeting people and experiencing life. She loved everyone and never judged. She treated everyone like they were her own and she was an amazing cook.
