Mrs. Katherine Brown, age 88 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away June 29, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born May 17, 1927 in Harrisburg, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Jesse Orr Gandy and had been a longtime area resident. Mrs. Brown was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, puzzle books and bird watching.
