Janie Carolyn Hays, age 68, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away July 25, 2014 at her home. Born October 17, 1945 in Covington, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel Mix Hardin and had been a longtime area resident. She was the owner/operator of her own beauty shop in Trumann and later worked at Haircare USA in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Hays was a member of the First Christian Church in Trumann, Arkansas and enjoyed watching old movies and reading.

Lesa Kay Gaynor, age 45 of Bay, Arkansas, passed away July 24, 2014 at her home. Born August 26, 1968 in Trumann, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Bobby and Glenda Walker Rusher and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Gaynor enjoyed writing poetry, shopping, and spending time with her grandson and family.

Loyd Roland Vickery, 83, of Brookland, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday July 25, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital. Mr. Vickery was born on December 19, 1930 in Arkansas to the late Thomas Richard and Lillie Dickeson Vickery. Mr. Vickery lived most of his young life in Rivervale. He met the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Shirley, and moved to California where they spent 21 years and had two wonderful children. Mrs. Mary Etta Jettave Long, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House after a brave battle with cancer. Mrs. Long was born on March 17, 1939 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late Chester Clayton and Mandy Lee Rutherford Hairrell. Mrs. Long was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed sewing, singing hymns, and spending time with grandchildren.

Mrs. Brenda Fay Nichols Milner, age 63 of Bono, Arkansas, passed away July 21, 2014 at her home. Born February 1, 1951 at Kennett, Missouri, she was the daughter of D.B. and Freda Roberts Woodard and had moved to Bono, Arkansas when she was 6 and lived the remainder of her life in Bono. She attended Bono High School and worked at the Craighead County Jail and David Puryear Center. Mrs. Milner was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed photography, writing poems and playing softball.
Mrs. Kathryn Jeanette Poyner, age 69 of Bald Knob, Arkansas, passed away on July 17, 2014 at her home. Born March 4, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edith Mowbray Heckel. Mrs. Poyner was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mr. Gregory Dean Perkins, age 53 of Wilson, Arkansas, passed away at his home on July 21, 2014. Born August 8, 1960 in Lepanto, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Floyd and Aver Walley Perkins and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Perkins enjoyed fishing and collecting artifacts.
