Born October 17, 1945 in Covington, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel Mix Hardin and had been a longtime area resident. She was the owner/operator of her own beauty shop in Trumann and later worked at Haircare USA in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
