Mrs. Hazel Marie Gamble, age 79 of Manila, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Manila Nursing Center. Born September 29, 1932 in Manila, she was the daughter of the late James and Blanch Vernor Whitehead and been a longtime area resident. Mrs. Gamble attended the Hornersville school system and attended the Manila Assembly of God. She enjoyed serving the Lord and gardening.
She is survived by two brothers: Windell Wilkey of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Charles “Nick”
Abbey Renee Sevor, age 22 months of Mt. View, Missouri, passed from this life on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. Born September 27, 2010 at West Plains, Missouri, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth Froman Sevor.

Matthew James Gorecki, age 45 of Hoxie, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 28, 2012 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born December 7, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Helen Reed Brandon and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Gorecki enjoyed working with his hands. He worked on vehicles, was a cabinet maker for twenty-three years and enjoyed horses.

Mrs. Imogene Southard, age 86 of Cardwell, Missouri, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Heritage Gardens in Senath, Missouri. Born April 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Mamie Harkey. Mrs. Southard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cardwell and enjoyed sewing, shopping, gospel singing and visiting with family and friends.

Mr. Leman Harold Robirds, age 82 of Manila, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at his home. Born July 29, 1929 at Lake City, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John and June Dorris Robirds and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Robirds was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Manila and served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Robirds was a member of the American Legion 197, a member of the Manila VFW and enjoyed watching westerns.
Lisa Marie Steele 18, of Paragould, Arkansas died on Friday, July 6, 2012 at a residence in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born on September 12, 1993 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Mark and Emily Myles. Lisa was a member of the Sonlight Baptist Church and she loved music and her pets.

Born January 10, 1933 in Holland, Missouri, he was the son of the late James Alfred and Willie Mae Hatley Austin. Mr. Austin was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas and enjoyed gospel music.

Mr. James Elmer Hall, age 92 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born December 22, 1919 in Caldwell, Arkansas he had spent most of his life in Colt, Arkansas. Mr. Hall loved his country and had served in the United States Army where he received two purple hearts from World War II. He had pain daily but worked hard each day for his family.
