Sallie Jo Byars, age 82, widow of James Auldon Byars, passed from this earth June 16, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Sallie was born January 28, 1931, in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee to loving and Christian parents, Walter Francis and Tricie Elberta Wells Gray. Mr. Ray Albert Pagel, age 85 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at his home. Born April 4, 1927 in Waterloo, Iowa, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude Autland Pagel. Mr. Pagel served our country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a past commander of the American Legion in Paragould. Mr. Pagel was a former electrician for the John Deere Company in Waterloo, Iowa and was a member of the Westview Baptist Church in Paragould.
Mary Elizabeth Box, 82 of Galloway, Tennessee died on January 8, 2013 at Galloway Health Care. Ms. Box was born on July 10, 1930 at Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late Luther and Elizabeth Green. Ms. Box was a Christian, a nurse for 25 years, enjoyed taking care of other people, doing genealogy and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Mr. William Eulice Franklin, 61, of Monette, Arkansas died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Franklin was born on August 28, 1951 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Rudy and Juanita Franklin. Mr. Franklin was of the Baptist Faith, retired farmer, and played country and gospel music.
