Bennie Gordon Carter, age 68 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on February 19, 2017 at his home. Born August 10, 1948 in Paragould, he was the son of the late Miles and Essie Smith Carter. Mr. Carter proudly served our county in the United States Air Force for 24 years. He enjoyed 50 and 60s music, westerns, CSI movies, wood-working and working in the yard.

Mr. Gerald Edward Trayler, age 75 of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away on February 13, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born September 18, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan, he was the son of the late William and Frances Stepp Trayler. Mr. Trayler was a member of the Christian Life Center in Brookland, Arkansas. He enjoyed raising cattle, and spending time with his family.

Billy Joe Householder, 47 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on February 4, 2017 in Paragould, Arkansas. He was born on October 3, 1969 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Jerry and Linda Creecy Householder. He was a member of the Central Baptist in Jonesboro and he loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include; two brothers: Eddie Householder of Lake City, Arkansas and Bobby Householder of Harrison, Tennessee; and a host of other family friends.

Born May 7, 1941 in Walla Walla, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Martha Loveless Harris. Mrs. Lampkin was a Christian and enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mr. Ronnie Hill, age 65 of Black Oak, Arkansas, passed away February 7, 2017 at his home. Born December 15, 1951 in Monette, Arkansas to G.W. Hill and Evelyn Thomas Hill. Mr. Hill farmed most of his life, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, spending time with his family and smoking his favorite cigarettes which were Marlboro soft pack while aggravating all the girls.

William Russell Bearden, age 65 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on February 5, 1952 in Tulare, California to the late Ted and Ethel Bearden. He loved to make old cars beautiful. Mrs. Dora Dean âNenawâ Powell, age 89 of Black Oak, Arkansas, passed away on February 3, 2017 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born February 15, 1927 in Evening Shade, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late James Edgar and Eva Davis Dunigan. Mrs. Powell was an active member of the Black Oak Church of Christ and enjoyed crocheting, reading, sewing and was well known for her pies at church.

David Dudley Sykes, 61, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 11, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Dudley and Margaret Elaine Jacobs Sykes. Mr. Gerald Scott Ferrell, age 51 of Little Rock, Arkansas,
passed away January 29, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born May 15, 1965 in
Illinois, he was the son of Wyatt and Carolyn Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was a happy likeable man who was
an avid Cubs fan. He was a good worker, and a dedicated employee who lived life
the way he wanted to live it.

Mrs. Cathy Jean Laire, age 62 of Trumann, Arkansas, went to her eternal home on February 1, 2017. Born March 11, 1954 in Trumann, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Brashers Clem. Mrs. Laire loved camping, cooking, attending family reunions and collecting bells and Barbieâs. Mrs. Laire enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing with her group in her younger years on the radio.
