Mrs. Misty Michelle Ingle, 47, of Marked Tree, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Ingle was born on September 7, 1966 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Bobbie Lou Jackson. Mrs. Ingle was one of Jehovah’s witnesses and was very active in the field work. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Alfred Keith Hight, age 57 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away August 16, 2014 at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. Born May 19, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was the son of the late Alfred Henry and Mildred Fay Smith Hight. Mr. Hight was a happy person and loved dogs.

Mr. Eugene Burks, 80, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Burks was born on May 7, 1934 in Burdette, Arkansas to the late Chester and Zelma Scott Burks. Mr. Burks was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Burdette, served his country in the Army Reserves, retired from the Singer Company in Trumann and Wendy’s of the South in Jonesboro, and he was an avid outdoorsman.
Mr. Floyd Stone, 65, from Manila, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home. Mr. Stone was born on July 14, 1949 in Manila, Arkansas to Bennie and Loretta Starkey Stone. Mr. Stone enjoyed making duck calls and riding motorcycles.

Mr. Norman Williams, 78, a lifelong resident of Black Oak, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Mr. Williams was born on February 7, 1936 in Black Oak, Arkansas to the late Jake “JK” and Eva Fisher Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Williams was an Air Force Veteran and Mayor of Black Oak for thirty years and loved his town. He, also, farmed and worked at FMC in Jonesboro
Mr. Thomas Wayne Steen, 76, of Marked Tree, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Steen was born on May 7, 1938 to the late William Clay and Bertie Mae James Steen in Corinth, Mississippi. Mr. Steen was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Charles Lavance Foley, 83, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Born January 10, 1931 in Alicia, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Mable Hawk Foley. Mr. Foley was of the Baptist faith, and he helped build and start two churches in Jonesboro, Arkansas, North Main Baptist church and Victory Baptist church. Mrs. Nancy Reynolds Bratten, 75, a life-long area resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Bratten was born on November 11, 1938 in Bono, Arkansas to the late Gene and Othella Thornton. Mrs. Bratten was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, worked in banking, enjoyed reading and working in her yard. She loved all animals but dogs were her passion.
