Billy Wayne Benham age 73 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on December 3, 1943 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Joe and Thelmalene Benham. Billy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served our country and a truck driver for many years.

George Edward Phillps, age 79 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Arlington Cove Healthcare in Trumann, Arkansas. He was born on June 17, 1937 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Ray and Hilda Phillips.
Survivors include; one brother: Bill Phillips and wife Teresa of Chicopee, Massachusetts; two sisters: June Lowder of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Betty Bingham of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Cletis Pearl Eddings, age 69 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2017 at the St. Bernardâs Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born July 28, 1947 in Manila, he was the son of the late Homer and Rosalee Murphy Eddings and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Eddings enjoyed was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, walking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Born December 10, 1935 in Blytheville, Arkansas he was the son of the late C.D. and Grace Forrest Hodge. Mr. Hodge was a member of the First Assembly of God in Wynne, a 50 year member of the Lionâs club and a long-time Justice of the Peace. Van Oliver Brown, age 73 of Hornersville, Missouri, passed away on April 17, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born December 5, 1943 in Hornersville, he was the son of the late William Henry Harrison Brown and Virginia Williams Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church and was known around the area as âBoBoâ and âThe Can Manâ. Mr. Brown received a plaque for picking up cans.

She was born on October 18, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Delmar and Clara Price Thomas. Born December 28, 1935 in Bolivar, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Nona Vaughan Taylor. Mrs. McCoy was a member of the First Assembly of God in Leachville and enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Brenda Kay Pagan, age 62 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away April 4, 2017 at her home. Born November 2, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of Edward Lee and Dessie Corter Moody. Mrs. Pagan was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She had owned her own day care and gift shop for over 13 years and also enjoyed decorating and spending time with her family and friends.
