Mrs. Sandra Ramsey Platz, age 43 of Monette, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home. Born August 25, 1970 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Auddie and Delores Mask Ramsey. Mrs. Platz was a member of the Bethabara General Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Her family said she was always there to help out someone in need.

Mr. Charles Wesley Smith, 67, of Manila, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born on March 3, 1947 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Ethel Wright Smith. Mr. Smith enjoyed working on cars, especially his toy, a 1937 Jaguar.

Mrs. Cathy Lorene Davis, 63, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away on April 12, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Davis was born on January 20, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Oliver and Carrie Ethel Wright Holt. Mrs. Davis was formerly from Paragould, Arkansas and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mr. John Finis Berry, 85, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Craighead Nursing Center. Mr. Berry was born on July 31, 1928 in Rector, Arkansas to the late John and Mary Mable Church Berry. Mr. Berry was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Mrs. Helen Louise Jones, 74, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born on May 6, 1939 to the late Marion and Alice Morgan Morris. Mrs. Jones was of the Baptist Faith, loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends.

Mr. Kenneth Earl Holt, Sr., age 59 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born November 20, 1954 in Manila, Arkansas, he was the son of Calvin and Melva Ingram Holt and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Holt was of the Church of God belief, owned Holts ATV repair service in Manila for many years, enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.

Brenda Kay Williams, age 67 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born November 23, 1946 in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Maxine Hale James and was a member of the Greensboro Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Williams enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and loved watching Jeopardy and Bones.

Mrs. Lambert was born on August 12, 1957 in Trumann, Arkansas to Howard and Wanda Williams Taber. Mrs. Lambert was of the Pentecostal Faith, enjoyed garage sales, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.
